 Area Social Services in Somerset, Texas (ASSIST) is a Non-Profit Community Service Agency incorporated in 1987 as a Texas “Publicly Supported Organization” under the IRS Code, section 501(c)(3). Combined Federal Campaign (CFC) #36283.
Our corporation is made up of volunteer board members from the tri-county area. All board members serve without pay and devote many hours of service to the community. We strive to increase the quality of life and truly “assist” those less fortunate individuals, many of whom are the children and elderly in our community.
